Role Description:

This is a part-time, on-site position located in the Greater Ocala Area. As a Licensed Optician at GO Shades Eyewear, LLC, you will assist customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include performing fittings, customizing prescription lenses, conducting eye exams, and educating customers on frame selections and lens options. You will also collaborate with optometrists and other team members to ensure the highest standard of vision care.

Qualifications

• Expertise in optics and knowledge of optical instruments, lens measurements, and adjustments
• Proficiency in providing customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional customer service
• Experience in optometry and familiarity with practices supporting eye health
• Ability to conduct basic eye exams and assist in evaluating prescription needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building customer relationships
• Licensure as an Optician in accordance with state regulations
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in prescription and frame handling
• Bilingual abilities and experience in retail optical settings are a plus
